French Country Adventures is U.S. Company. Our bank is located in the U.S. and hence all of our transactions are in dollars. Our conversion rate is the real-time, interbank rate, which is the rate that banks trade currency and may vary from the stated price due to exchange rate fluctuations. Please feel free use the currency converter located on the sidebar. French Country Adventures may be compelled to amend prices as increases may occur unexpectedly due to rising costs of ground transport, fuel surcharges, accommodations and currency fluctuations, et al.  You will be notified as soon as possible. 

Payment Schedule – A deposit of $1,000.00 per person, is required 90 days before your tour begins. Deposits can be made by direct bank transfer into our U.S. Bank of America or Pay Pal accounts.  If you choose to use Pay Pal, credit card usage is available. Full payment is due 60 days prior to your departure date. If payments are not received when due, we reserve the right to assume you have cancelled your adventure and will apply our cancellation and refund policy accordingly. 

Cancellation, Refund and Transfer Policy  

Cancellations must be received by French Country Adventures by email or direct phone call. We will calculate your refund based on the day we receive notification.  Regardless of reason or cause, cancellations result in the costly processing of letters, phone calls, refund checks, as well as a loss of time which often precludes resale.  

60-85 days prior to departure: 25% forfeiture of total tour price.

45-59 days prior to departure: 50% forfeiture of total tour price.

0-45 days prior to departure: 100% forfeiture of total tour price. 

Please note that no partial refund will be given for unused travel for any reason once the trip begins.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE: To protect against loss from cancellation for any reason, or due to an accident or the illness of self or immediate family members, cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. You may use any Travel Insurance of your choice.

 You may choose to transfer your payments to another adventure at a later date, with credit according to the payments you have made. Transfers are not accepted within 59 days of your adventure date.

No refunds will be made to those who fail to join an adventure without due cancellation in writing, nor for accommodations or services not used, or for a partially completed tour. 

If French Country Adventures cancels a tour: 

We may be forced to cancel an adventure if circumstances beyond our control – weather conditions, strikes, war, political turmoil, terrorism or civil unrest – create unsafe travel conditions to, from or within our destinations. In such cases you may choose between receiving a full refund of your deposit and all other payments made or transfer your payments to another French Country Adventure for a later date.

French Country Adventures and/or their Agents act only as agents for the adventurer in regard to travel including, but not limited to, sightseeing, meals, lodging, transportation and all other services whether by railroad, motorcar, motor coach, boat or aircraft and they assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle or for any reason whatsoever, or through the acts or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the adventurer or in carrying out the arrangements of the adventure. 

French Country Adventures will accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air or other services, baggage damage or loss, sickness, weather, strike, war, volcanic eruption, terrorist acts, political unrest, quarantine or other causes. All such losses or expenses will be entirely borne by the adventurer. 

French Country Adventures reserves the right to substitute hotels of similar category for those indicated and to make any changes in the itinerary or transportation where deemed necessary, or caused by changes in air schedules or transportation substitutions. 

French Country Adventures is not responsible for any other trip preparation expenses such as non-refundable air tickets, passport or visa fees and medical-related expenses. 

The Registration and Terms and Conditions form must be signed by each participant prior to the commencement of the adventure. Participation in any adventure will be declined in the absence of the signed Registration and Terms and Conditions form with no trip fee refund. No modification to the Registration and Terms and Conditions form will be accepted.

Should French Country Adventures or anyone acting on their behalf be required to incur attorney’s fees and costs to enforce this agreement, the enrolling adventure participant(s) agree(s) to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees and costs. In the event a lawsuit is filed, the enrolling participant(s) agree(s) to do so solely in King County in the State of Washington, in the United States, within 2 months of the scheduled Adventure date.
